I enjoy braces. I have what is call ceramic braces. They just show the wire. They aren't that throbbing. When i got my bottoms on(which are silver) they hurt a great deal worse. They are about $250 more than the regular braces.

Well the clear retainer similar to, invisaline (is that how you spell it?) show the least. But as far as metal braces, I get the clear on the top and silver on bottom. (clear meaning the square piece i.e. actually atttached to the teeth.) The clear can simply be used on the front four or six though. But they showed the least. I have my braces on from my sophomore year until the day previously I graduated illustrious school. So I have them in my senior pics. But they weren't that noticable. As far as throbbing, metal brace are more painful only just because they have to be tighted every so repeatedly. And it isn't pain as it is discomfort so much. And Tylenol usually help with it. Cost vary, depending on where you progress. You can also do research because there are some programs out at hand that help wage for braces if you are in financial have need of.
