Answer:
INFECTIONS!
infections plus it makes your teeth adjectives chipped and broken. when you clunk it.
They have proven that it is coupled to heart problems... Also, you can get focal infections & its easy to swallow your ring while your a sleep or drinking.
The metal prong on the back of the tongue piercing digs a hole contained by the gum behind your lower teeth. This hole cannot be repaired, it stays within forever, ask any dentist.
YES.. DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT JUST GETTING YOUR TONGUE PIERCED? THEY ACTUALLY BORE A HOLE IN YOUR TONGUE. THE ROUND PIECE OF MEAT COMES OUT IN THE TUBE THAT THEY USE. IT'S NOT JUST POKING A HOLE IN IT LIKE YOUR EARS. THE RISK FOR INFECTION IS VERY HIGH. YOU CAN'T EAT FOR 2-3 DAYS, THEN IT'S JUST SOFT FOODS FOR A BIT. WHEN YOU GET YOUR TONGUE PIERCED, YOU HIT THE THING ON YOUR TEETH AND RUIN THE ENAMEL ON YOUR TEETH, THEN YOU WILL HAVE DENTAL PROBLEMS. PLEASE THINK LONG AND HARD BEFORE DOING THAT. THE BAD OUTWEIGHS THE GOOD BY A LONG SHOT. HONEY, I HAVE BEEN THERE. IT'S A NIGHTMARE!!!!
They could puncture an artery and you could bleed to death. Is that horrific ample for you?
I've my tongue pierced for years and yes they can definitely motivation some damage, but as far as the swallowing go that is not true if you hang on to it screwed in tight, but if you really strictness about your gums and teeth after it heal enough to pilfer it out then offer your mouth a rest from it every now and afterwards, and it does dig a groove surrounded by the roof of your mouth and behind the bottom teeth within your mouth, it does not hurt to get it done, but if you are not extremely alert with aftercare you will be so messed up beside infection, if you get an infection run it out immediately rinse your mouth next to Listerine ( some say not to use it, but it is what will make well it better, it will also burn, but it will kill the germs) and next go to the doctor simply to be on the safe side
it hurts!! put together sure to use plastic balls insted of metal ones to prevent injurious your teeth
I've my tongue pierced for 6 years and i have never have any problems.just use a plastic barbell, that bearing you won't chip your teeth and they are not heavy plenty to make the hole bigger through out the years. I've never chipped a tooth or own had any sympathetic of infection. there are risks, produce sure the place that you go to is verbs, that the needles are sterilized. your tongue will be swollen for a little bit but it doesn't even really hurt. adjectives the people i know that enjoy horror stories are the people that didn't nick good caution of it, that went to crappy places to take it done, or people that play near the barbell too much and end up hurting themselves.
the simply scary entity i've heard is that if for some object they have to use one of those heart starter things on you, it make you smell because of the metal in your tongue so simply your getting electricuted at the same time or something similar to that. i just know it smells really impossible if they have to do that on someone that have their tongue pierced. i haven't had any infections on the other hand knock on wood and i've had my tongue pierced for 3 years, but DO NOT click your teeth near the ball and barbell it can lead to your teeth to chip that way
My sis have a swollen tongue for a few days after the piercing. But that's normal. About 2 months after, it started to gain red, swollen and had pus (infection). She cleared it up. But at her subsequent dental appt, her dentist was unfolding her she had chips on the wager on of her front teeth and the inner sides of her big teeth. Mostly likely cause by talking and hitting her teeth beside the tongue barbel or while sleeping. She kept it for a few months but finally took it off because of the chips it be causing. Going for thinner jewelry may comfort. Talking will take a moment or two while to get use to. Just own to be aware of it on. Good luck!
