This is normal, try not to over stimulate the teeth by drinking or drinking anything hot or cold for a few days, they will settle down. Right now they are going through somewhat pulpitis from being worked on, this is conventional and will dissipate with time. The padding material used will transmit hot or cold at a much faster rate to the pulp than that of the pure tooth structure. They have be stimulated from being worked on and accumulation hot and cold is just too much stimuli for the brashness right now. So distribute the teeth time to settle down from being worked on and slowly return to your mundane temperature of foods and drinks. Be sure to brush next to warm wet for a few days and you might want to try using a straw to drink from avoiding letting anything touch these teeth. Hope I've been of some assist and good luck!

Some but never completely. I got a gold ingots replacement cap surrounded by the back of my mouth and hold to drink things not a cold as I used to.
dont drink cold water pilfer a mild pain reliever next to tepid(lukewarm) water and relax if the dull pain does not go away within a while you may need to ring your dentist about a mild prescription dull pain reliver sorry to hear of any one hurting LOL
