1) Is it better to shift to the gym to stay contained by shape, or regularly play a sport?

I'm going to be a college freshman in September, and I be wondering if I should plan on going to the gym regularly to stay in shape, or bind an intermural and play with other population on a regular basis. Maybe an live sport like basketball or tennis?

Depends on your purpose. Sports will improve your serenity and cardio -vascular health and commonly strengthen muscles.
At the gym, you can target areas and use timers and monitors to keep track of heart rate and calorie burn.
I would guess a combination of 3-4 days mass training and 2-3 days of some kind of globe would be the ideal.
Play the sport, and hit the gym a moment or two.
I would say play a sport because you are also have fun, interacting with family and making lifetime friends. Wealth can be measured in friendships.
gym can be boring sometimes i ponder active sports is the best ...but probably experts will say aloud gym coz then u can develop muscles and tone up ur body

being involved is always the best but conceivably you should try and do both, b/c some certain sports dont other target all themuscles. if you play a sport you will other be active and going to the gym willtone and biuld adjectives you differetn muscles.
Staying in shape have far more to do with diet than exercise, but as far as your examine, it's all nouns. I like playing games because it's more interesting, but when I can't find a winter sport, I run.
it will be more fun to play a sport and it is cheaper than going to the gym. playing sport is a great way to preserve fit.

I would say try a bit of both. You could join a gym to enjoy access to weights and machines to weight train beside, but also join a squad to get a cardio workout and hold fun doing it.
Actually, Both are good for your body. Gym though might be a short time boring and frustrating too in the launch. And sports often hold the fun touch to them, keep your mind and reflex perfectly contained by shape, and also make you more energeticl. Gym lacks these things , but regularly going to the gym provides basic exercise to all the parts of the body, so it is indispensable too. But personally, i would suggest chosing sports.
The gym is smaller amount fun but you get a better workout for your time. Active sports, while they might grant your a cardio workout, often don't work plentiful of your muscles. On top of that you spend a lot of time standing around doing nil in lots of them.
It depends on your interests and your motivation level. I would prefer a troop sport because I like the social interaction and would be more of a mind to participate on a regular justification if I knew my squad was depending on me and my friends would be within.

I love going to the gym, but hate to progress alone. I only step if someone I know is going to be there.

So similar to I said, it just depends on your motivation smooth.
