Daughter get severe hives later dark, have be complaining of man itchy for days.?

My 4 yo daughter had be telling me for 2 or 3 days, usually contained by the morning that she was "ohhhh soooo itchy" but I looked and didn't see anything. Then later night, I promised her a banana split because she did so suitable getting her x-ray (she currently has pneumonia). After more or less 6 bites of the banana split she went to the bathroom and yell "mommy come help me". This be her first ever deal next to hives. She had them on her wrist, forarms, creases of her elbow, on her hips, buttocks, groin, thighs, belly, and put a bet on. The hives on her groin area, hips and wrist give the impression of being to be huge.
My question is, could those "itchy" days where on earth she didn't have the hives on her hold lead up to the severe outbreak of hives or something within that banana split? *Note*
all things surrounded by the banana split she has have before.
How long do they later?
Is it premature to make an appt beside an allergist to see what she is allergic to being that this be a one time thing?

Answers:    I am guessing that she in actuality has a drug allergy! Get her to the doctor presently. If she is on antibiotics for the pneumonia she is most likely allergic to that. The fancy itchy for days can lead to the build up contained by her system and finally the breakout in hives. I hope that isn't the armour, but call the pediatrician asap!

***edit

Drug allergies can develop at any time, but what you are describing is a systemic spontaneous effect not a localized reaction. A localized impulse could be something that she touched. A systemic reaction is far more serious. Call the doctor and speak next to one of the nurses. Did you tell the doctor something like the being itchy for four days? Is she on any cough drug over the counter or prescription? I'd call and see in the order of taking her back contained by.
is she taking an antibiotic for her pneumonia? first guess would be a reaction to a drug she is on, afterwards a food allergy...
