Anyone get any adivce for a newbie diabetic?

i was diagosed as type 2 diabetic this week
have anyone got any suggestion on how to control it
im on tablets
if anyone has any recipe thinking that would be great

Yes, I have lots of warning. After almost a year of denial, I got near it and learned profoundly on managing type two. Yes, it can be fearsome, but doesn't have to be. culture is power, and as long as you know how to keep your blood sugar underneath control, there's no need to verbs about a item. Learn everything you can about the disease and cart what you learn seriously. Don't cheat on your diet. You may deduce nobody knows but your body will notify on you. If you don't keep your blood sugar very well controlled, it can cause blindness and kidney disaster. Good luck.
