What do you do for hives?

I can't go to doctor because I lately started new opening and insurance hasn't kicked in BUT I reason I had an allergic hypersensitivity to sun tanning lotion and it's turned into hives. Anyone know of ANYTHING that will help this?

Answer:
An delayed hypersensitivity approaching hives is due to a local release of Histamine. It is your body's attempt to fight past its sell-by date something that in actuality is not injurious to you- your body overreacts. As a result, inflammation and irritation happens--hives. If you absolutely can't move about to the doctor, don't scratch, rob some benedryl (which counters the histamine), and I have hear that Cortisone cream with aloe also help. And the main piece: don't use that lotion again or any other lotion like it until you can stir to the doctor and determine what exactly in the lotion your body react to.
diphenhydramine 50mg three times a day.
Benedryl.
Hives usually move about away within a few hours, but if you don't see a alteration, try Benadryl or some other anti-histhamine!
you can buy otc benadryl pills for hives ask at your local drug store
go to the store and carry the biggest bottle of benadryl, i had them within march and go and get some anti-histamine cream
Most pharmacists will give out that loving of information for free.
Take a Benadryl (if that is how you spell it.) It is an allergy medication. It should bring down your hives. You should probably go to a local pharmacy and communicate to the pharmacist. They often hold good direction.
benedryl. there are also hydrocortisone creams, if u don't want to b groggy. benedryl really works.
Antihistamine out loud (benadryul, claritin, etc.) and cortisone cream.
I broke out once and went to the emergency room, and adjectives they told me was to walk to the drug store and pick something up!Try some Benadryl or Calamine lotion, you can probably find something over the counter you can ask someone to go pick something up for you if you perceive uncomfortable going out next to hives.
Benadryl works best, but may cause drowsiness. I own had hives from the tanning bed, too...also, try a warm or lukewarm bath of Aveeno or put around 2-3 cups raw oatmeal surrounded by a piece of cheese cloth (or baby diaper similar to material) and tie tightly. Put that in the tub of sea. Hope you feel better soon!
you necessitate to really go to the doc and bring a shot of benadryl in the ***, and that would clear it up . im not sure what the cost would be to do that w/o insurance. within the mean time you can put calamine lotion on it and nick benadryl orally
Benadryl-adviced by my doctor and allergist
