It could be various things.
1. Canker sores also known as mouth ulcer. They are a type of herpes. Not the sexually transmitted type but a type of herpes. There is a mouthwash you can get at the drug store for this. I infer it is made by Colgate or Crest, ask the pharmacist.
2. Could be an allergic reaction to something you hold eaten. My daughter is allergic to tomatoes even tho she loves them. Her mouth breaks out from them. Even some chewing gums, mouth wash or toothpaste can irritate the mouth. I cant chew any gum or candy that is a red color. The mouthwash I mentioned above works for this too.
3. Could be Strept throat. You will stipulation an antibiotic if this is the problem, so go to the doctor if the problem doesnt gain better.
I know it doesnt taste well-mannered, but swish with hydrogen peroxide a couple times a sunshine. Spit the peroxide out, do not swallow. A good tongue scrapper used after brushing your teeth and a right mouthwash such as listerine may help to prevent the ulcer.
