My daughter be born with cradle sunhat and the only bearing that I could get rid of it be to put baby grease on the dry patches and consent to it sit for awhile and then shampoo her pelt and lightly rub the patch until the scales came past its sell-by date. It may take a few treatments to gain rid of it, but it does come off. Cradle sunhat usually goes hand-in-hand next to eczema, something else my daughter has when she be younger, so watch for dry patch of skin elsewhere on the body.
Get some baby grease and generously apply to the babies scalp. Leave it on the scalp for 30 min to an hour so the scalp absorb the oil. Take a tremendously soft baby brush and amazingly gently brush the babies leader and all the unmoving skin should just sluff right bad. Then wash the babies quill to remove any excessive oil. But be paid for sure use a generous amount of newborn oil. This worked wonders on both my kids
Go to the drug store and buy Aquaphor (Eucerin make this) its a healing balm. I don't know if it will completly cure it but it helps next to dry and irrated skin. U can use this as a diaper ointment and also for chapped oral cavity. Its great and very handy near a baby. Good luck!

Pour a little infant oil on a cotton bubble & gently wipe it on the cradle sou`wester. It'll loosen it, so you can take a soft child brush & brush it, to loosen it or it'll loosen & come off when you use clean up the hair next to baby shampoo.
