Vegan diet... desperate for diabetics?

ive read artciles saying that lacto-vegetarian diabetics arent as insulin dependent as non vegan diabetics? true?? can any one relay me?

Answer:
Personally for me I'm not a vegan however I've see & heard of vegans that own been vegans adjectives their lives die from cancer. So that tells me even the lacto-vegetarian diet's no good contained by the prevention of cancer and other illinesses. I eat both meat and vegetables.
A lacto-vegetarian diet isn't very honourable for you because you aren't getting the protein you need. It can debilitate your bones and muscles so i think a lacto-vegetarian diet isn't a good one. You might requirement some strength for your diabetic problems. Sorry if i don't know much.
most vegans develop health problems because unmistaken B vitamins are not found anywhere in the vegetable empire. You need an animal source for these vitamins. milk eggs cheese etc. minus them your nervous system and other bodily functions slowly shut down.
Vegan diet can step either style. I know a few vegans who are really healthy, but I also know few lacto-vegetarian that aren't.
If you chose the be vegan, you necessitate to make sure your filch certain vitamin supplements, that you may not be getting from food that you will no longer be intake.
If you are diabetic and you are considering becoming vegan, you should confer to your doctor or a nutrition specialist/consultant.
vegan diet is desperate for no one.

freshly make sure to carry vitamin B12 pill, since it only instinctively comes from meat.

maybe the simply reason lacto-vegetarian may due to better (though i have not hear this) is because they are less imagined to be obese.

being overweight only adds to your body's insulin problems
ask your doctor for nutritional counseling -this will answer adjectives of your questions.
I don't know plentifully about a lacto-vegetarian diet (other than you don't eat any animal product including dairy) but i know like mad about diabetes (my younger sister be diagnose when she was 6, she's very soon almost 15, and i live with her and used to babysit her) A diabetic can still drink a vegan diet, it will only be more difficult. Diabetics have to monitor their minicab intake... thats really the only dietary restriction (especially if you're on an insulin pump, they're amazing!) You can devour whatever type of food you want as long as you are drinking a certain amount of carbs respectively day at the right times. unambiguously vegans don't get some of the nutrients found within meat and dairy, so you would have to purloin a dietary supplement. I'm not sure how those would affect blood sugar for a diabetic though, so you should talk to your doctor or diabetic nutritionalist roughly it.
That's ridiculous. Diabetics need complex carbohydrates and protein. No simple carbohydrates, which is mostly what the lacto-vegetarian diet is - french fries.
I have tried beside patients in the hospital on a strict regime to regulate diabetics foolish adequate to insist on being vegetarian, and the hospital dietician finds it impossible to plan a reasonable diet. Now, if the patients eat cheese, drinks milk, and eats eggs it can be done.
