Can quitting smoking snappily "cold turkey" effect an increase surrounded by blood pressure.?

I'm 24 and just quit smoking two days ago 'cold turkey' and have my annual physical today. My blood pressure was through the roof! 141 over 86. I took my blood pressure over a month ago and it be fine. Doc said not to worry and he will monitor it again contained by two weeks after he receives my bloodwork. Are the nicotine subtraction symptoms here including anxiety, irritability, and restlessness causing illustrious blood pressure?

Smoking increases the blood pressure. Sometimes within minutes of stopping smoking, your blood pressure and heart rate can end.

It's very potential that your blood pressure reading was due to anxiety or any number of other things, but it's worth watching. I'd scheme a guess that an overall trend would be downwards.

Unfortunetly, I am not sure if high-ranking blood pressure is a side effect of quitting smoking, but I can tell you that anxiety, irritability, and restlessness are adjectives part of quitting! And yes, adjectives of those could cause your blood pressure to be up.

Your blood pressure is not too glorious right now, so you don't hold much reason for concern. Especailly because your doctor is on it.

I quit smoking a month ago...I also quit cold turkey. It be extrememly tough on my body. My body went through adjectives kinds of chance stuff. I am happy I quit though.

Blood pressure can fluctuate very confidently. One trip to the doctor is not something to get worked up over. If you do quit smoking and your BP stays elevated then your doc can look at your kidney function among other things, but don't sweat it for immediately.

Did you know that 1 month after quitting smoking you are already at a 50% lower risk of heart disease and stroke than if you were still smoking? That height goes to 100% and 200% inwardly a few years of no smoking.Not to mention that cigarettes have THE HIGHEST height of nicotine in them surrounded by history this year, over 10% higher than 2005 alone!!
