Anyone else lose a parent to lung cancer?

I lost my dad in January. He be on home hospice and was on morphine due to aching in his spine (where the tumor metastasized).

Do you touch your parent is watching over you? My dad said he would watch over me. Sometimes I touch like he is, but I'm not sure if it's of late wishful thinking.

What was the second thing they said to you?

Answer:
Yes lost my Dad, almost 15 years ago.
Now if I enlighten you this, you will think I am insane. About three months after the Funeral, I open my eyes to see my Dad sat on the bed alongside me, rubbing my forehead and recounting me not to worry, adjectives would be fine. Now while that sounds strange, he was dressed surrounded by clothes he did not have and never have. I checked with Mom.
Then give or take a few six years ago we changed cars. Dad was other into Cars and he had a Volvo. On the Volvo when the fuel container was nearing insincere a red light come on to warn you. Anyway we changed cars and sometime I went to another Town on business. On the drive backbone I noted the red light on the fuel gage, it be flashing? Odd though because the petrol tank be half full? Anyway as the garage where on earth I purchased the car from be on route home, I drove in to a service cove, jumped out and spoke near Danny who is the master mechanic. 'Danny the tank is partially full but the red warning wishy-washy came on for a upright three miles then go off, wonder if I enjoy an electrical fault?' Danny looked at me and said 'This sports car does not have a red preventive light, it have a orange petrol pump sign?' Realising something have kinda gone wrong I left the garage sense a bit silly. On arrival Home Mom said 'Forgot your Fathers anniversary did you?' Yes I had! However, probably this was a sign that my Dad be still watching over me. I was so paranoid, I drove the sports car until the gage went to E and yes Danny be right the orange petrol pump sign come on, no red warning pale!
The last entity Dad said to me 'Did you take your VW Beetle into the Garage as I will transport the engine out and replace it'. However the last item he said to Mom, well I gone the room, because they knew respectively other years before I arrived. Not a sunshine goes by where on earth Mom and I do not think, articulate, remember Dad and in that passageway we do keep him alive.
I consequently got a dog, a Yellow Labrador? I have no choice, asked the local dog pound to get me a dog, so they matched us up. Two years after that I found out my Dad had a black Labrador when he be a teenager, I never know that and Mom did, but did not say anything when I returned home next to the yellow Labrador! When I asked Mom why she did not say-so anything, she said 'Tis your Father again, keeping an eye on you!'
No but I worry my mom will bring to a close up with it, she's other coughing and smokes like crazy. Im sorry and cant switch on to imagine losing one of my parents. I cant even unclothed the thought. But, I did lose a son, he was in recent times a newborn and Im not religous but I whole heartedly believe he is watching over me and I believe your dad is watching over you. I bet he wraps his arms around you and wishes you could know. All those times when you enjoy that "feeling" or something strange happens, I believe thats him. True or not, its beneficial to believe so let yourself.
Here you can lighting a candle for your dad. My son is on this page(Deven Tyler). Things like this really give support to keep him alive.
