Any suggestions for loss of sense of smell?

I had a sinus infection and I am unable to smell things since. I have been to 2 different ENT specialists and had my nose scoped out, taken many antibiotics and nasal sprays. I have a nasal drainage in the am. CT scan of my sinuses reveal a small amount of chronic changes in my sinuses. Any suggestions?

Answer:
I'm so sorry. I've only temporarily lost my sense of smell and it drove me crazy. (Its hard to know if something as simple as shampoo smells nice or nasty.) I was also concerned that I wouldn't be able to smell smoke or something burning. I used my sister to be my "nose" for me when shopping for scented products (its amazing how many we use!). My symptoms resolved after getting my allergies under control. You didn't say anything about antihistamines. I would assume if they are doing the diagnostics and treatments you mentioned then you've tried antihistamines. Also curious if you've tried nasal/sinus rinses? That helps me breath better, I already had my sense of smell back before starting the rinses so I don't know if it would help. Couldn't hurt much though!
Good luck! (Until you find relief, just smile whenever anyone ask "What stinks?" since you won't need to worry about it!)
