Are hormonal imbalance cause my pimples and curved fuzz?
Is this a hormone lack of correspondence or what could be causing this??
Answers: The curly spike and acne are reactions to testosterone. You do not inevitability to have a hormonal disparity to be sensitive to testosterone. In other words, your hormone tests could come hindmost competely normal. If your hackle follicules (and skin) are sensitive to testosterone, they will be sensitive to any amount, and the hairs will become curly and your pores will clog.
If it does not cool down on its own, try reseaching some ways of blocking androgens. Some women are taking Spironolactone, which is also an ingredient in some birth control pills. Check ou this website: http://www.healthboards.com/boards/archi...
I am 25 and when I hit 22, the exact same entry happened to me. No one be able to explain it (sorry, I know that's not too compassionate.) I was told it be caused by hormones, but adjectives the tests I have done showed my levels to be everyday. Some of my hairs (individual hairs) would be corkscrew ringlets and others would be pin straight resembling it's been my undamaged life. That calmed down after around a year, though, so hang surrounded by there.
With the acne, however, NOTHING I be prescribed worked. I am now almost to my third month of Accutane and I conjecture it's starting to kick within finally.
See your dermatologist if you're concerned about your skin. As for your pelt, not much to do except get an anti-frizz cream! :( Good luck!
I've have a similar experience! During my teens my hair be quite curly later seemed straighter within my twenties & then when I have my baby at 28yo it go curly again & I got loads of spots! Its exceptionally strange but I believe it must have something to do next to fluctuating hormones.
