I never took Benadryl, but I did take Piriton and they made me extremely sleepy. As you rightly say, everyone have different reactions to a range of medications, but speaking from experience I would recommend Boots own create antihistimane tablets. Their pharmacist recommended them to me when I developed a sun allergy and used to come out in a dreadful reckless on my arms and upper chest each time I exposed myself to intense sunshine (as on holiday). Having tried adjectives the sunscreens recommended for those with skin allergies lacking success, this be a last resort. I took basically one a day and feel absolutely fine, next to no drowsiness whatsoever and, best of all, they worked! (Don't call for them now, as I no longer enjoy an allergic reaction).
I take one day by day and have never have any side affects. I take them previously bed...Just incase they make me drowsy. My Dr said it's fine to embezzle them anytime of the day.They work great for me :)

Hi, I can't remember whether I've taken Benadryl before, but I know that most antihistamines create me ill and they exact drowsiness- that's what nytol sleeping tablets are made of. The only tablet I cart is Boots hayfever relief. It contains loratadine and is non-drowsy. You solitary take one a time, and it works for any allergy ( I take it for hives on my face-nice) and i own never experienced any side effects, plus it works fairly without delay. Give it a try, I hope it works :)
I have tried various antihistomines, even Benadryl, and all but one of them be like really strong sleeping tablets. The 'good' variety is Clarityn.
I take cetrizine hydrochloride during hayfever season and enjoy never suffered any of the possible side effects. Each person react differently though, there's other antihistamines available so if that one isn't right for you try another.
