Is any of the prejudice cause by smoking reveresed if a character quits?

I used to smoke and quit a year ago- i was wondering if any ruin, if any, that my smoking did to my throat and lungs is still there, or if over time the body usually heal itself?
In the morning Im usually all phelmy, but that fade after a nice cup of sardine coffee

Answers:    Every year past the age of 25 you lose 30mls of your lung volume . This is slightly a normal decline, for age and rank predicted, your lung function should reamin 'normal'. Once you smoke some people are susceptible to lung blight which accelaerates this decline. If damage have occured and your lung function has decline this may be an indication for you to stop. Your lungs will never reverse back to the their full potential but the rate of decline contained by function will slow down. The sooner you stopped the better your prognosis for the future.
Yes, some twist always remains. The big quiz is how much had you be smoking before you quit. The most exalted thing here is - the sooner the better!!
