My sister has tonsillitis right now. I have it about 3 years ago. Last night (before I found out she have it) I felt kind of sick. My sister isn't home outstandingly much but I spent half the day beside her yesterday. My head hurts now. Now its characteristics of hard to swallow and when I open my mouth it feel like something covering my throat. Then when I open my mouth there's strings of stuff within it (gross I know) and I might be paranoid but it looks swollen. Should I go to the doctor too since I've had it back.. Last time I missed a week of school and I really can't afford to miss ANY school.. I might only be being paranoid.
Answers: Of course go to the MD, you don't necessarily hold to miss 1 week of school. If it is tonsillitis they can put you on antibiotics and you can stay in conservatory, maybe miss 1-2 days tops. But if you dont see an MD it may worsen and you will be really sick, just stir.
