Answer:
By the sounds of your symptoms you have injured your brachial plexus (a bundle of nerves at the top of your shoulder). This could also be a referred strain from your C5 spinal nerve root. There can be masses causes of this prejudice. If there be not an instance where you be suddenly injured, it is likely posture related. Unless you are an athlete, later it could be overuse.
You do not necessarily need to see a doctor for this. If you be to go to a physiotherapist, they would be capable of do some non-invasive tests that would pinpoint the root of your agony. They have the invigorating tools that can treat your pain near out surgery, depending on the cause of it. They will also know how to give you more direction if they can not treat you.
I would not recommend icing the injury though, unless at hand is visible swelling. You would do best to apply fry to the affected nouns. You may want to try doing some simple neck stretches, which can backing to lengthen the muscles and my curtail some of the pressure on your vertebral discs.
that's what drs. are for, not Health2009.com...
You may have muscle strain, chutzpah impingement or disk problems but as the poster said above, best to talk to your doctor to be assessed & properly diagnosed.
capably I work with a chiro and it sounds approaching you have a disc related issue. I would recommend for you to win a cervical spine MRI and check if you have a herniated/bulging disc or if you own degenerated disc disease. If you do enjoy one of those conditions, that could definitely be the basis of all of that nouns and arm pain. Then try to address this issue as with alacrity as possible, because the symptoms can get worse. In the meantime rime your neck 2-3x day by day for 15-20 min sessions. GOOD LUCK
I see this was posted 23 hrs ago and I am hoping by presently surely you have gone to the doctor and perchance had an EKG...gone arm pain, shoulder and into collar is one of signs of heart attacks......if that is ruled out consequently can check for the disc problems that could be pressing on a nerve...
