A little help...?

I'm doing a research paper on phobias in a class I am taking. The problem's that I seemed to have come up with an obvious hypothesis, and I really have nothing to prove with it. The subject of phobias is so broad I don't know what I should write about. Does anybody have any ideas on what my new hypothesis should be?

Answer:
do one about the fear of spiders heights or water. some of the questions could be what causes the fear? in what point in our life do we gain this fear? what scares us the most about it?

for spiders your hypothisis of the causre of fear for spiders could be " when someone is bitten by a spider and gets a sore they become afraid of the spider."

For water you could say " i think people are afraid of water because learning to swim is not easy for some, some people may fear that they will get tired and drowned and others may be afraid they will not do well at all in the water.

good luck
