Sorry to hear your anxiety is cranked up. I know it is mizzzerable. I am not a medical doctor but hold lived with (i.e., survived) Major Depression and its tandem excruciating level of anxiety for 15 yrs---with a lot of psychiatric meds & countless hours of psychotherapy & support of kith and kin friends. So, to be clear, this reply comes from my own personal experience and is valid only to that extent.
First, I permit me say that your do not provide plenty information to answer you as fully as I (or anyone) might. Obvious questions for you are:
-do you hold any other medical conditions (this includes psych)?
-are you taking any other medications (prescrip. or OTC)?
-are you delivery a full complement of psych. care? i.e., who prescribed the Valium? are you beneath the care of a psychiatrist (I hope)? are you seeing a psychotherapist?
Rather than confer on you with a bunch of question, let me suggest the following for the present:
-do NOT help yourself to more Valium than was prescribed. It's potent stuff and in attendance are too many unknowns for you to self-medicate.
-do NOT drink any alcohol. Many reason for this warning which your doc can explain.
-call the doctor who prescribed the Valium TOMORROW! In reality, you should be able to send for their answering service NOW and leave a message for a return call upon. Any doc will/should call you wager on the same time under such circumstances. (If they don't, please consider finding a contemporary doc!)
-self-remedies (I know some of this sounds hokey, but some of it may help and none will injure, and maybe this will grasp your through the night):
**If you are consuming anything that contains caffeine, STOP! I know this can be a rough move for some, but caffeine will only aggravate and elevate your anxiety stratum.
**If you know how to meditate, DO. Even if you can only do it for a short time while or for repeated short periods, this can give a hand.
**Stretching: lay on the floor and stretch out every part of your body (not till it hurts!). Try doing this for at lowest 5 minutes at a time, and repeat as needed.
**More stretching: sit upright surrounded by chair or on floor and try loosening up the rigidity in your d¨Ścolletage and shoulders by doing 'the clock', i.e., close your eyes, imagine that your cranium is a clock face (!) and move your pave the way from 12 to 6, then from 1 to 7, 2 to 8, etc. adjectives the way final to 12/6. This is much more effective than basically side to side or up & down.
**Get some exercise, any kind, even merely walking. If you can't get outside for some object, do anything your can think of inside (run up & down stairs, do calesthenics, etc.).
**Take a long, hot tub hip bath.
**And yes, even try that mug of warm milk! Add a short time bit of cocoa or sugar if you prefer.
And, mad c, if you call for to, go rouse up a friend or family branch. The worst thing you can do is isolate yourself. The best item you can do until you can get professional warning (and afterwards!) is talk to someone. If you necessitate to call a hotline,
DO IT.
This will nouns corny and annoying, but please believe that there are lots of those out here/there who do understand your throbbing and want to help. You can catch help and you will surface better.

CRIKEY! I in recent times read over some of answers that came contained by while I was writing the above. Pleeease do not transport more than the presribed amount of Valium or drink any alcohol. Talk to your doc before doing anything! Every person's physiology is different; ergo, everyone's sensitivity to and tolerance of any drug is different. Your doc is the one to figure out what you involve. Tell them everything. And if you don't like your doc, get the impression like they're not listen, etc., get a unusual doc! There's plenty of 'em.
THAT SHOULD DO IT ..GIVE IT TIME..
valium should kick contained by pretty quickly however your body can clash it and that might be the case. try this, when you clutch it make sure that you are relaxed possibly drink some tea or take a hot tub before taking it. if this doesn't work than i would say aloud that you may need any a higher dosage or something else adjectives together. i take klonopin and that help me get through the light of day. hope this helps
2 mg of Valium is a drop surrounded by a bucket. I'm on 5 mg, which is regarded as low dose too. When I have a breakdown, during my fight near cancer ... the doctor was giving me 30 mg. Even on 30 mg it didn't affect me much, it basically gave me the dexterity to sleep for an hour or so. Maybe ask your doctor if he can adjust your medication. Wishin' you the best ... :)
2mg?!?!?!? I take 20mg to attempt to relax... when I popped my shoulder out of reciprocated and was going crazy from backache I took 30mg in an hour, Ibuprofens and finally when I be at the end of my rope, downed just about 5-6 shots of Jim Beam. slurred my speech like crazy, but still wouldn't agree to me relax or sleep.
I didn't even know they made them as low as 2mg.. I've only see 5's (white) and 10's (baby blue)
Of course you may be very skinny, or be on other meds to be given that mg size... perchance even a heath concern. Call your doctor and relate him/her that it just isn't working... should you hold more or not?
Are you crazy ? flush the valium down the loo. Get a grip on yourself and stop wallowing in self pity, theres tons of ancestors out there worse stale than you who dont have the luxury of "anxiety". Try adjectives breathing exercises at bed time to get sleep. Be grateful for what you own, for everything that makes you jolly, and learn to appreciate the insignificant things within life. Everyone have problems, only we can serve ourselves, so buck up and get on next to it. Best wishes.
