(about ocd) How to turn support an mania when it comes to you.plz answer me great ways to call off it.?
Answer:
First, you have to be aware that you enjoy the problem and what the problem is causing you to do that requests corrected (many people don't even realize what they are doing due to OCD).
Make sure OCD is the root make happen of the problem. Possibly try to determine what is causing the OCD and fix that but if you cannot:
self-monitor, what I anticipate is to be aware what you are doing and why you are doing it (It will take time to train yourself to do this). When you start an OCD behavior or quality like you are in the region of to...remind yourself what is causing it and try to distract yourself by doing something totally different or thinking of something totally different.
It is concrete and takes practice but should work. If this doesn't work, you may requirement to talk to a counselor or doctor.
What have worked for me is to use visualization to turn the obsession sour.
Sometimes, I have trouble when I'm just about to leave the apartment for the morning because I end up checking the stove three times to gross sure I turned it off.
Now, I look at the stove and visualize the knob being sour (just as they are) and then I speak in my mind, "the stove is bad."
That way, within all my rushing around, I don't "forget" that I checked it.
That is the simply thing I can recommend base on my experience.
If you do genuinely hold OCD, a very, highly effective thought technique is to allow yourself the thought once short fear, later slowly, gradually repeal the energy from it. You may hear almost the "stop" technique which means mentally shouting "stop" at the thought, but I find that to be too inappropriate. The key to controlling OCD is recognize that they are YOUR thoughts, meaning the animation feeding into them belongs completely and totally to you, and that if you allow it the spirit once then slowly cancel the energy, the thought will float away on a linear template like a "normal" thought would. You can liken it to a twig caught contained by a circular pattern contained by a stream. If at some point in that circular stencil the energy of the flow breaks, the twig breaks free and starts to flow freely down the stream, and away. Believe me, this honestly, truly, works.
ok this is extremley difficult but i know how much ocd take over your life so you own to first be commited to stopping it.
- wait, hang around, wait to do the piece you need to do if its close to touching doorknobs stand there and every few minutes the urge to do it will return with less and smaller number after the first few minutes of crazy anxiety
- if it is an obsession of repeating things contained by your head i'd suggest going on a tablets to treat it like zoloft
