28 daytime birth control pack?

If you are on 28 day birth control, do you shift through your whole week of placebos? I've be on them for four days and my period is pretty much over. How frequent of you actually skulk 7 days before starting the busy pills again? I know none of your are my doctor, but I would just approaching some insight...
