I involve some info on massive ovarian cysts?

i had a ct scan. i be told i have a massive ovarian cyst. and inevitability to get an echogram. what is a massive cyst. and what is the difference between echograms ultrasounds and sonograms. how are these cysts usually treated. they said my liver pancreas and gallbladder adjectives look good. im hurting impossible in my right side and rear they thought it was my gallbladder but it isnt can anyone comfort me out on this thank you

Answer:
" massive" is a subjective descriptive term , abut I would guess if the radiologist is using it , after the cyst is more than likely 6 cm or more surrounded by diameter . Cysts are fluid filled common herd that can develop just nearly anywhere , but the most common place within women is involving the ovaries and adnexal regions of the pelvis . they can be simple ( clear fluid) , or complex ( filled near blood , or thick puss close to material). 99% are benign , but there are a few intensely rare ovarian carcinomas that present next to a complex cyst configuration .

treatment varies upon your personal condition history and you Doctor. they may treat with hormones to try and resolve the cyst , or they may opt for a surgical intervention . It adjectives depends .

As far as the difference between the three mentioned terms ...adjectives are the same . the are adjectives synonyms for an ultrasound , and relatively interchangeable as such .

Good luck !
