Iam a full time hand, how abundant times per/wk can your boss distribute you home w/o repay b/c work is slow?

I work ina a hospital,12hr shifts, when the censes are low (in patients), my supervisor will send the afternoon shift nurses aid home. We only achieve 36hrs a wk to begin next to and I was only just wanting to know legally how various times is she aloud to send us home near out pay durning a regular work week? and is it nouns when she dosen't send the dark shift worker home?

If you don't have a writtten work agreement that lays out the policy nor a alliance you are prettey much at the mercy of the floor nurse. you could check with human relations or doesn`t matter what they call it at your facility roughly your right to work scheduled hours. Sending workers home is a far cry from asking for volunteers.

If you don't get your full week, next they really can't send you home.

Did you sign a contract to always work 12 hours per afternoon? If you did not, then the boss can do doesn`t matter what he wants to do because he hired you and can fire you or distribute you home if he doesn't need you. Now, if you own a union at the hospital, he probably can't and would hold to find you something else to do. If there is a association, you need to complain to the shop steward roughly it. If there is not a confederation there, he can do lately as he pleases and you will have to do as he say or look for other employment.

Yes. It is discrimination to other send the time shift person home. Logically, the boss would distribute the night shift home instead of you because he is probably paying for a time more to the night shift populace (night shift differential).
