How do anti-gas drugs work? (Gas-X, Mylanta Gas, etc...)?

Does it just dissolve everything contained by your stomach?
Apparently they decrease the surface stiffness of gas bubbles or something to that effect, causing little foamy bubbles to merge into one life-size bubble, which can then be expelled. This is worthy because if you're filled beside little gas bubbles that are only coming out somewhat bit at a time, they cause pressure, bloating and agony. These medicines don't stop you from have gas, but they help you catch rid of the gas all at once instead of have to deal next to it all hours of daylight.
Gas X (Simethicone) allows gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines to come together more glibly, which allows for easier passage of gas. It is used to relieve scratchy pressure that is cause by excess gas in the stomach and intestines. This gas may take place in frequent circumstances, including air swallowing, indigestion, ulcer, irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulosis, and after surgery.

Mylanta ( and many of the others) act by neutralising the excess acid produced surrounded by the stomach and by preventing stomach acid from refluxing into the oesophagus.
