It is in truth spelled klonopin and here is what I found on it on the internet:

What is Klonopin (clonazepam) ?
o Klonopin (clonazepam) is in a class of drugs call benzodiazepines. Klonopin (clonazepam) affects chemicals in your brain that may become unhinged and cause seizure or symptoms of panic disorder.
o Klonopin (clonazepam) is used to treat seizure and panic disorder.
o Klonopin (clonazepam) may also be used for purposes save for those listed surrounded by this medication guide.

This site has deeply of info on it;

Like other benzodiazepines, clonazepam is believed to act by simulating the conduct of GABA on the central faint-hearted system. Because of strong anxiolytic properties and euphoric side-effects it is said to be among the class of 'highly potent' benzodiazepines. Although benzodiazepines are invaluable surrounded by the treatment of anxiety disorders, they have some potential for misuse and may end in dependence or addiction. The sedative effects of clonazepam are relatively delicate, compared to its strong anxiolytic and anticonvulsant effects. One milligram of clonazepam is approximately equivalent to twenty milligrams of diazepam. [1]

Unlike most other benzodiazepines clonazepam appears to also have a lesser effect on the neurotransmitter Serotonin. [2]. It has shown itself to be adjectives as a short-term adjunct to SSRI treatment surrounded by Clinical Depression [3], and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder,[4] with the combination person superior to SSRI treatment alone. Similar results have be found with some other anxiety disorders, but the role of the serotonergic effects enhancing the movement of the SSRI treatment remains unclear within these cases due to clonazepam's primary anxiolytic mechanism of bustle.

Pharmacology language?
Anti-cholinesterase. Anti-muscarinic. Acetylcholine antagonist. Are all of the above synonyms?? not quite. An anti-muscarinic, such as atropine, blocks the effects of acetylcholine at muscarinic receptors. An acetylcholine antagonist is less specific (doesn't specify muscarinic or nicotinic) , and would block the effects of acetylcholine at muscarinic AND nicotinic receptors. An anticholinesterase blocks the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine...
