Blood Pressure Medication - Side Effects?
Tried Cozaar again taking morning and evening instead of one a sunshine but same problem if not worse. As an experiment stopped taking medication and as expected BP risen to null levels 165/115 but no problems. Any one experienced same? any accepted wisdom? It's really unpleasant not being competent to run after a ball beside my Grandson for fear of a dizzy attack and they can be severe. Otherwise no condition problems and not diabetic.

You obviously own a long history of hypertension....me too. Do not adjust your medication yourself, let the doctor do that. I'd have a propensity to return to your GP and let him know your symptoms. There are plenty of medicine available for this condition, perhaps this combination of drugs doesn't suit you. Also, I've be on beta blockers for over 20 years and have not be advised to stop them. If, on the exceptional occasion I do forget to clutch it my symptoms are much worse!! Just a thought. Hope things improve.
One of the side effects of not taking medication is, economically, death. Maybe not tomorrow, or the subsequent day, but sometime contained by the future and since it should. So keep taking em, and lose some solidity - I can see from here that you are carrying a few too many pounds. Extra cargo put strain on the heart, but you know all almost that don't you, so the medication is the lesser of two evils. Good Luck!
