Which doctor can prescribe drugs? physcologist or physciatrist?

Answers:
Only a psychiatrist is qualified to prescribe drugs. A psychologist, without an MD scope, is not. Psychiatry is a medical specialty, requiring post-doctoral training and residency; psychology is not.
Only Psychiatrists can. They are MEDICAL DOCTORS, whereas a Psychologist is more of a therapist, but can brand name suggestions for medication management.
