Fluoride is thoroughly important within keeping the teeth enamel strong. Alcohol was a component within mouthwashes to kill germs. It have been mostly removed. The other materials you mention are to annihilate germs.There is flavor components in mouthwash.People judge that if it stings it must be doing some good. Preventing gingivitis is probably aided by mouthwash.Brushing and flossing is as called for as mouthwash for healthy teeth.
