EDIT: yes, while lovaza is an omega-3-acid ethyl ester it has other busy ingredients that are not to be mixed with other drugs. For example, Warfarin bc it can increase the risk of bleeding. one and the same goes for using this drug near aspririn (although not as dangerous). Also, using beta blockers may antagonize the effects of lovaza. As well as diuretics.
Basically a prescription drug comes near a lot more on the black box restraining as does OTC meds that are just advise to be taken as needed and following dosage instructions. I would also let you know that lovaza have some pretty common rxns: hindmost pain, swallow changes, flu syndromes, infection, and dyspepsia.
The one and only caution i know of is the deliberate...if you have a hypersensitivity to fish.
