Is it bleak to mix lamictal [for epilepsy & bipolar disorder] & xanax?

Lamotrigine (Lamictal) and Xanax have no relevant interactions near each other so they should be risk-free when combined. However, the same cannot be said though for spot on other anticonvulsants when mixed with Xanax (eg. Carbamazepine/Tegretol)
