What is cardiomyapathy?
dog medical condition
Answers:
cardiomyopathy = deterioration of the heart muscle
cardio=heart
myo=muscle
path=disease or remarkable condition
disease of heart muscle
Initially heart muscle becomes damaged, whether from a viral infection or uncontrolled high blood pressure, among a host of other things. To filch over the load of pumping blood for the damaged muscle, the remaining healthy muscle have to grow quickly to continue life functions. The unknown muscle is localized (in individual sections of the heart) and makes the heart appear larger than it was initially. But a heart near cardiomyopathy doesn't work as effectively and may be more likely to develop nerve conduction / arrhythmia problems. Good luck with Phydeaux.
Cardio is the root word for heart. Myo is the root word for muscle and pathy is a suffix consequence disease. So Cardiomyopathy is literally disease of the heart muscle (not just a dog condition).
it means the heart can not pump the blood in and out well..the heart muscle have been damaged at some point, whether it was a pre-exisiting condition or over time..medication can improve this however and u can live a normal life
