Question for relations who know: is 2 mg of xanax a secure dose for a personality used to 1mg?
every once in a while (every week or so) when my sister needs to sleep she takes 1mg of xanax (he take two 0.5 mg pills).
so she realy doesnt have a "tolerance" and i was wondering if it is safe for her to rob four 0.5mg pills equaling 2mg of xanax for times of realy bad anxiety or when her insomnia is realy bad.
is 2mg a dangerous dose for a individual who is non tolerant? is taking 4 of the little tablets bad because of the fillers in them?
BTW she is 17 and on the lighter side.

She would probably not suffer any major unwell effects from taking the extra dosage, however she should discuss it with her prescribing doctor before changing the dosages on her own - or below YOUR guidance.
