Overdose of acetaminophen but notion okay?
Ok so two nights ago, I took 5,500mg of acetaminophen. I weigh 170 pounds and am a really healthy 18 year old. I'm a college student so I drink abundantly, but I called poison control last night and they said I would be fine, they didn't even recommend me getting checked out.
Well the one concern I enjoy is that I've felt like I have a swollen spleen for former times two days. Its not painful at all, just discomfited, like I'm always aware of my left side and its pretty annoying...I'm thinking in the region of going and getting blood work done tomorrow. Any suggestions?

1) Don't drink alot.
2) Don't take acetaminophen.
3) Get yourself checked out any time you enjoy pain and don't ignore it. 4) Go to a walk within, or your family doctor, get blood work done.
And lastly......be smart and stay safe.

There is an antidote, the sooner you bring back it the better, you could end up dying a slow death leading to liver anticlimax.
Stop drinking alcohol altogether for at least the next week.

You didn't take a dosage that would normally be serious and you are a bit bigger than average, so you should be okay.

If you haven't have a catastrophic liver failure by now you'll be fine. It usually kicks within after 20-24 hours and you'd definitely know if you'd done it - the pain is excruciating.
