anyways, my mom has illustrious blood pressure, too.here are some of the things that you can do:
a.use small amount of salt when preparing your food
b.if possible, don't eat pork, drink chicken or beef instead
c.don't eat liver (chicken, etc)
d.you should maintain your healthy consignment
e.avoid eating fatty foods
f.avoid eating oily foods

as for herbs, there's this herb called SAMBONG within the Philippines. some people boil sambong leaves and drink it. some say garlic is good, too.. but i don't really know if that's true.. better ask your doc what are the best herb for hypertension...
