List of interesting virus?
I need to make a model of a virus for school. Can anyone account of bunch of specific, interesting ones? I already know Ebola (can't make a model of it) AIDS, SARS, rabies.... yeah

Answers:
Varisella Zoster. It cause people to break out in a rash that involves pustules adjectives over the body. It itches very badly and is usually much worse in adults than contained by children. It is large for a virus and has an outer coat that prevents it from being destroyed. The first vaccine wasnt until 1995.
AIDS isn't a virus, it's a syndrome disease cause because he HIV virus destroys the T-helper cells from the victim's immune system. AIDS manifests when an HIV carrying person reach very low T-helper blood titers.
I'd say from how the virus works, it's the most fascinating basically because it can rewrite DNA (going against the original genetic code triad thanks to reverse transcriptase) and how it can elude the body's immune system so damn well.
Hepatitis C is similar surrounded by that sense because it can also rewrite DNA and it's highly elusive and very difficult to treat. If liver disaster doesn't kill the person, hepatocarcinoma will.
Hepatitis D is kind of interesting because it's a substandard virus that requires genes from Hepatitis B to cause disease. If you get vaccinated for Hepatitis B, you'll never, ever achieve sick from Hepatitis D. If you have active Hepatitis B, getting the D virus increases the chance of getting chronic infection.
Since virology is one of my things, I'll just index off a few that might be of interest:
influenza virus
norovirus
parvovirus
Foot and mouth disease (picornavirus)
West Nile Virus
Rotavirus
Hepatitis (depending on A, B, or C, they are all in different virus families)
Herpesvirus
The T4 phage is a pretty little virus that infects microbes. Tobacco Mosaic Virus (TMV) has been studied extensively. A model of part of the virus could be made well. Look it up and you'll see what I mean.
