Does taking Panadol or Aspirin prevent you from absorbing hose down?

Answers:
I initially thought that this question would be easy and that the answer is no, but after doing some research it seems that the answer is yes.
The fundamental theory behind why aspirin and paracetamol may inhibit water digestion is because of cell damage, which prevents them from absorbing water.
As the mitochondria are acetylated by aspirin this can lead to a series of events which rationale inappropriate cell actions.
Paracetamol is metabolised into NAPQI which is a very toxic substance and this can eliminate the cells, inhibiting water absorption.
This effect is single seen in the upper part of the small intestines close to the duodenum and jejunum. Water is mostly absorbed in the large intestines and not the small intestines so the effect see is quite small.
Also these effects were only see after very high doses. If you want to read more check out the sites underneath they explain the occurrence a bit more.

Hope this help.
