Can HSV-1 or HSV-2 transmute locations/travel?

When my husband and I first started dating 13 years ago, I contracted HSV-1 from him (genitally) through oral sex, via a cold sore on his lip. We have both had over five years since our last outbreaks. However, I am experiencing what I believe is a cold sore on the corner of my mouth. Does the virus travel from one location to another? Or, is it feasible that I've been carrying it all these years and suddenly have an outbreak of the lip magazine? I have been under plentifully of stress, and I have an injury-related canker sore in my mouth as powerfully, so I assume my immune system might be lowered. Professional answers/ opinions are greatly appreciated!
Answers:
it was probably a latent infection from kissing him on the mouth.
